It’s been quite some time that I started my blog but never
got the time to write one. But today (in-between I have also got married) I
thought of writing something.
Not getting into the debate, I want to move to the more
amusing part of getting married and its effects on our lives (mind you only
women)
Late night parties
Late night parties
Men always crib that they lose their freedom of going out alone, boys night,
late night parties and all…But do women ever get to do all such things (I mean,
no one in today’s society stops you from going out, but working women are so
self occupied that even if they want, still they can’t be themselves.)
You must have also experienced this… When your husband goes out with friends
and you at home alone… You want to sleep but you won’t be able to sleep…You
want to enjoy your food… But you won’t be able to… Because you don’t have want
to eat alone and even you feeling sleepy, you won’t sleep because you waiting
for your husband to come home safely…And once he’s home, without realizing the
time, he will behave as if it’s just the evening. Will ask for maggi, tea,
coffee… I mean wasn’t the food enough at the party?Weekends
It’s weekend and you waking up on almost same time as weekdays (as the snooty maid is ringing the doorbell) whereas your husband gets to sleep more… A woman once up, can hardly sleep again (I guess it’s with every woman). Why can’t our husbands wake up early once and receive the honourable maid, while you are sleeping?
Guests
Why is that only a woman has to receive guests all the time? Why can’t men entertain them? You must have gone through this… You just have got one week off… Some relatives, friends have come over for lunch… Suddenly after lunch, you find your husband sleeping happily, while you are sitting with the guests… I mean only your husband has the right to have an afternoon nap?

Like this there are many more such little things that make
you cringe at the present and happy when you think about your bachelorhood days….

Ha! I agree with the whole thing. Would like to add another point where men assume that women have to know what is going on in their heads! The most annoying part is when after you have finished interpreting what is on their mind, they make a statement "You are always thinking too much"...
